1. Overview & Acceptance of Terms

This website and online lighting retail store are operated by Blckigd (referred to as “we”, “us”, “our”). All website browsing, account registration, product browsing, orders, purchases and customer support services are collectively defined as the “Services”.
By accessing, browsing, registering an account or placing any order on blckigd.com, you fully acknowledge and agree to comply with these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy and Shipping Policy (all linked at our website footer). If you disagree with any clause below, you are prohibited from using our website and purchasing our lighting fixtures.
These Terms apply to all site users, including browsers, registered customers, trade buyers and visitors. We reserve the right to revise, update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice; revised versions take effect immediately once published online. Your continued use of the website after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

2. User Eligibility

  1. You must be at least 18 years old, or reach the age of majority in your local jurisdiction to place orders. Minors under 18 may only use our website with full parental or legal guardian consent.
  2. You warrant that all personal, shipping and payment information you submit is true, accurate, complete and legally valid.
  3. You may not use our Services for illegal activities, fraud, counterfeit transactions, intellectual property infringement or violation of local, state and federal laws.

3. User Account Rules

  • You may register a customer account using a valid email address. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your account login credentials (username, password). All orders, inquiries and operations made under your account are deemed authorized by you.
  • Notify us immediately via info@blckigd.com if your account suffers unauthorized login, data leakage or theft. We are not liable for losses caused by your delayed notification or careless password management.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account without refund if you violate these Terms: fraudulent orders, abusive messages, repeated policy violations, fake identity information, malicious returns or copyright infringement.
  • You may delete your account by submitting a written email request to our support team; historical order records will be retained per tax and compliance requirements.

4. Product Information, Pricing & Inventory

4.1 Product Descriptions

We sell indoor & outdoor lighting fixtures, LED lamps, mounting hardware and matching accessories. We strive to provide accurate photos, dimensions, material descriptions and installation guides, but minor color differences caused by screen displays, light environments and production batches are not deemed product defects. Specifications are subject to minor manufacturer updates without prior notice.

4.2 Pricing & Taxes

All product prices displayed on the website are denominated in US Dollars (USD), excluding shipping fees, customs duties, sales tax and import fees (where applicable). We reserve the right to adjust retail prices at any time before order confirmation. If pricing errors occur due to system bugs, we reserve the right to cancel unshipped orders and issue full refunds.
Sales tax will be automatically calculated and added at checkout based on your delivery address as required by US state tax regulations.

4.3 Inventory & Out-of-Stock

All inventory quantities are real-time estimates. If your ordered item becomes out of stock after payment, we will contact you within 3 business days to offer a full refund, product substitution or order delay option. No compensation will be provided for temporary inventory shortages.

5. Order Placement, Payment & Cancellation

  1. An order is only officially confirmed once you complete successful payment and receive our automated order confirmation email. Payment methods supported include credit card, PayPal and other third-party authorized payment channels. All payment transactions are encrypted and processed by secure third-party gateways; we do not store your full credit card data.
  2. You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the full order amount at checkout. If payment fails repeatedly, your order will be automatically canceled after 24 hours.
  3. Standard unshipped orders can be fully canceled within 48 hours of purchase by emailing info@blckigd.com with your order number.
  4. Custom-made, personalized, custom-size lighting items cannot be canceled once production starts. Orders already dispatched to logistics carriers cannot be canceled; you must follow our official return process after delivery.
  5. We reserve the right to reject or cancel any order for reasonable reasons, including suspected fraud, abnormal bulk purchases, invalid shipping addresses or repeated policy violations. We will issue a full refund for all canceled orders processed by us.

6. Shipping, Delivery & Customer Responsibilities

All shipping rules, delivery timelines, logistics tracking and damaged-on-arrival claims are governed by our independent Shipping Policy. Key obligations for customers:
  • Provide a complete, accurate, deliverable shipping address with valid contact phone number; we are not responsible for delivery failures caused by wrong addresses, missed pickup or recipient absence.
  • Inspect packages within 7 calendar days after delivery for breakage, missing parts or manufacturing defects and provide unboxing photos/videos for claims; late inspection requests may be rejected.
  • For customer-initiated voluntary returns, you bear all return shipping fees, customs charges and a 15% restocking fee as stated in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

7. Returns, Refunds & Warranty

All return eligibility, non-returnable goods, RMA application procedures, refund timelines and restocking fees are fully defined in our Returns & Refunds Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
  • Standard lighting fixtures carry a 1-year limited manufacturer warranty against material and workmanship defects, excluding damage from improper installation, human collision, water ingress, overvoltage or daily wear.
  • Warranty service does not cover labor costs for fixture disassembly, reinstallation or electrician fees.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

  1. All content on blckigd.com, including brand name Blckigd, logos, product photos, text descriptions, graphic designs, website layout, installation guides and video materials, is protected by US copyright, trademark and intellectual property laws.
  2. You may not copy, reproduce, resell, modify, distribute or commercially use any of our website content without our written formal authorization. Unauthorized screenshot resale, image theft and text plagiarism will result in account suspension and legal liability.
  3. Customer reviews, photos and feedback you submit to our website grant us a non-exclusive, permanent, royalty-free license to display and use such content for store marketing purposes. You retain personal ownership of your submitted content.

9. Prohibited User Conduct

You agree not to perform the following behaviors when using our Services:
  • Hack, disrupt, overload or attack our website server, inject malicious code or use crawler bots to scrape bulk product data without permission;
  • Send harassing, threatening, discriminatory, obscene or abusive messages to our customer service team;
  • File false defect claims, deliberately damage products to apply for full refunds, or commit return fraud;
  • Resell, distribute or use our lighting products for counterfeit production;
  • Violate intellectual property laws, spam advertising or conduct phishing through our website platform.
We reserve the right to pursue compensation and legal remedies for all losses caused by prohibited user conduct.

10. Disclaimer of Liability

  1. Our lighting fixtures comply with standard US electrical safety standards, but we are not liable for property loss or personal injury caused by unprofessional, non-certified electrician installation, incorrect wiring, unauthorized circuit modification or improper household power supply.
  2. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free website operation. Temporary website downtime for maintenance, server failure or third-party payment channel faults shall not constitute grounds for compensation.
  3. Under no circumstances shall Blckigd be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental or special damages (including lost profits, renovation labor costs, delayed decoration schedules) arising from product purchase or use, to the maximum extent permitted by US consumer law.

11. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

  1. Any disputes, disagreements or claims arising out of your use of our Services or product orders shall first be resolved via friendly negotiation through our official support email info@blckigd.com.
  2. If negotiation fails, all disputes shall be governed by the laws of the United States, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Legal proceedings shall be initiated in the state court where our business entity is registered.
  3. Any class-action lawsuits against Blckigd are waived by you upon accepting these Terms. Individual arbitration may be applied per local state consumer regulations.
